Hi Captaincrunch, The Windows XP CD that you’re using to extract the rundll32 file is not matching with the version of Service Pack on your computer. In other words, the installation of Windows XP on your computer contains the latest version of Service Pack than on the disc. But you can definitely copy the backup of rundll32 from your computer itself from the following location. C:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\rundll32 Copy the string and put it in the run box and you’ll see the file. ServicePackCache doesn’t contain rundll32 file. Hope this information is helpful and let me know if you need any further assistance.Mouneshwar R – Microsoft Support-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think
